This section is devoted to developing models that attempt to estimate the costs of operating a residential recycling program using best available data from the broader literature. This is done to allow users to compare their own reported costs with those modeled in a hypothetical system.
The models allow for a range of scenarios to be tested, allowing users to switch between weekly/bi weekly collection, single vs dual stream etc.
